Open Archive Initiatives
In an era where the Internet is increasingly used to archive journals, the development of uniform search standards to filter this wealth of information is essential so that it can be accessed and searched comprehensively by the academic community.
Open Archive Initiatives (OAI) is a set of uniform standards that enable metadata about archive collections (e.g., descriptions of information in archives, such as titles, authors, and abstracts of research articles) to be shared automatically between archives.
Metadata Scientific Journal also supports the OAI Metadata Harvesting Protocol. Metadata for all articles we publish is available through our OAI interface.
