Jurnal Meta Hukum is a research journal managed by the Tholabul Ilmi Islamic Education Research and Community Service Institute, which aims to serve as a medium for information exchange and scientific article publication, particularly in the field of law. It is intended for lecturers, law alumni/graduates, students, practitioners/advocates, legal and humanities researchers, and legal observers. Focus and Scope:
1. Legal Theory
Discusses the fundamentals of legal philosophy, theories of justice, legal principles, as well as legal paradigms and methodologies that form the basis for the development of legal science in various fields.
2. Comparative Law
Describes comparisons between legal systems in different countries, including civil law, common law, Islamic law, customary law, and comparative practices to find similarities and differences in the resolution of legal issues.
3. Sociology of Law
Examines the relationship between law and society, including social, cultural, political, and economic dynamics, as well as how law functions as an instrument of social control and social change.
4. International Law
Covers international treaty law, maritime law, humanitarian law, international dispute resolution, and international organization law.
5. Constitutional Law
Covers the study of constitutions, popular sovereignty, separation of powers, systems of government, state institutions, and the rights and obligations of citizens.
6. Private Law
Examines aspects of legal relationships between individuals, including contract law, obligations, civil liability, property law, and family law.
7. Economic Law
Examines legal rules in economic activities, trade, investment, banking, capital markets, international business, and digital economy regulations.
8. Environmental Law
Discusses environmental protection policies and regulations, natural resource sustainability, and legal responsibility for environmental pollution and damage.
9. Criminal Law
Covers substantive criminal law, procedural criminal law, and criminal enforcement law, including criminal policy, criminal theory, criminal procedure law, and contemporary issues such as transnational crime.
10. Administrative Law
Examines government authority, the relationship between citizens and state administration, and mechanisms for resolving state administrative disputes.
11. Cyber Law
Examines digital technology regulations, personal data protection, electronic transactions, cyber security, cyber crime, and legal developments in the era of digitalization.
12. Human Rights Law
Discusses national and international human rights instruments, the protection of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights, as well as human rights enforcement mechanisms.
13. Inheritance Law
Examines inheritance law from the perspective of civil law, Islamic law, and customary law, as well as comparisons in national and international legal systems.
14. Civil Law (General Civil Law)
Discusses the civil law system in general, its influence on the Indonesian legal system, and its interaction with other legal systems.
15. State Administrative Law
Focuses on the legal rules governing the organization, functions, authority, and responsibilities of the state in administering government.
16. Agricultural Law
Examines land law, agrarian law, natural resource law, and legal policies in the fields of agriculture, plantations, and forestry.
17. Islamic Law
Discusses Islamic law in various aspects, including fiqh, muamalah, Islamic banking and finance, Islamic family law, Islamic criminal law, and the integration of Islamic law with national and international legal systems.
